I’ve spent a significant amount of time in the kitchen today photographing a recipe for an upcoming post. That being said, I realized it was close to 4:00 in the afternoon and I still hadn’t eaten lunch. It was when I was in the process of writing for the blog post that my stomach growled, “ME. WANT. FOOOOOD!” (Think fat Jenna from 30 Rock)
I enjoy the process of cooking but sometimes I just need to eat. And when I need to eat, I prepare stuff like what’s pictured above: a toasted flatbread turkey sandwich with leftover rice and sesame crakers from the previous night’s bunco game. It’s not fancy, but it’s satisfying and gets the job done.
