How to Make a Gift Card Video Tutorial Version

I actually posted this about a year ago but I figured I would turn it into a video tutorial.

Supplies:
1 sheet of 4.25 x 5.5″ card stock
1 sheet of 4 x 5.25″ patterned paper
1 library pocket (3.5 x 5″)
1 sheet of 3 x 4.75″ card stock
Ribbon and embellishments
Sticky strip or any kind of ultra tacky tape (preferably 1/4″ or 1/2″)
Slit punch from Stampin’ Up or something comparable
1/4″ hole punch

I’m one of the few people on earth who hasn’t become a converted gift-bagger at Christmastime so you’ll still find me buying a couple rolls of Christmas wrapping paper during Black Friday sales. I often have quite a few large sheets of wrapping paper leftover so this year I decided to make gift tags out of them using my Cricut Expression. So here’s a tutorial on how to make gift tags out of leftover wrapping paper.

Supplies:

  • 1 sheet of card stock in a complimentary color
  • 1 sheet of white card stock
  • Leftover wrapping paper–enough to match the size of your cardstock
  • Spray adhesive
  • Cricut Expression

CD Sleeve Template and Tutorial

CD Sleeve Template Tutorial

Here it is! I put together a brief tutorial and a template for the CD sleeve I made last week.

Download the PDF template here.

An important note: the actual CD sleeve template is exactly 11″ inches in length and since print margins are usually less than that on 8.5 x 11″ paper, I recommend either using legal paper to print out that particular page OR changing your print settings from “shrink to fit” to “none” and print it on 8.5 x 11″ if you don’t mind the printing cutting off before the edge. Just know to extend the cut to the edge of the paper.
