YES!! That’s right! I’m an official member of Jen Martakis Designs’ creative team this year
(Visit her blog or browse her online store at TwoPeasInABucket.com) I’M SO HAPPY–I noted her as one of my favorite digital designers at Two Peas a few months ago when I first started exploring digiscrapping and now I can’t believe I’m part of her creative team! I was initially selected as a guest designer at the beginning of the month, but she liked my work so much she made me a permanent team member for 2010
Does this mean I’ll go entirely digital? Never say never
I always say I love the tactile feeling that traditional scrapbooks have, no matter how much room the supplies or books ultimately take (and well, like Jabari said, I already bought the stuff, I may as well use it). I’m pretty sure this will remain steady for me for a long time. Instead what you’ll see is a hybrid mix of digital and traditional scrapbooking, cards, and other paper projects.
Besides, hybrid is something I’ve been exploring off and on for the last couple years and only recently have I begun to seriously incorporate it. Jen’s designs are the perfect source of inspiration for making that transition.
So without further delay, here are my first two projects which, oh yes, are entirely digital

Oh my goodness! That’s so awesome! Congratulations! I’d love to be on a CT. My dream is to be on Peppermint Creative’s CT, but … well, I honestly don’t scrap as often as I should, though I do love to make hybrid crafts.
Good for you! Can’t wait to see all you do! (I also love your self-portrait LO.)
Thanks!! I was so thrilled to even be a guest designer, but then to be brought on permanently was a huge surprise. I’m glad though because I’ve been needing something to stretch my creative juices lately
That is great Kristine! Who got you all into this anyway? : ) By far you are the most creative person I know…haven’t I always told you that I want to be like you?
Will you make money for your designs? How does that work? Do you make a percentage of each one sold?
And how do you find the stuff you designed on her website? I looked up “Macabre” and found 2 designs that … didn’t look like your stuff…
LOL Steph you are so hilarious
Thank you!
Heather– no payment, but I do get access to all of her products and kits (both new and old) which is what I’ll use to create my stuff
So far I only have 2 projects, but they’ll appear on the product page at the Two Peas website.
I’ll be posting all of my layouts and creations here, and then I’ll link to the page on Two Peas
I am soooooooooooo excited to have you on the team Kristine! You are such a talented artist!
Thanks Jen!
