Izzie and I just got back from an annual checkup with the vet and everything went well. It was really kinda funny. She kept barking at every noise she heard out in the waiting area.

The doctor was great. This was our first visit to this place and I really really liked it. I was nervous (like I normally am with any doctor’s visit) but everyone was so sweet and friendly.

We walked away with a lot of goodies: medicated shampoo for her bumpy skin, ear cleaner for her ears, heartworm medication, a dental treat for Izzie, and a large vet bill. But like the front desk assistant said, it could’ve been worse.

But yes, she’s napping peacefully at my feet right now, happy and healthy. Couldn’t ask for more.
