This is my latest project. I’ve been wanting to organize all of my buttons according to color into cute little jars. The other day I came across these adorable little glass jars at my local Hobby Lobby. At $1.47 a piece, I figured that was a pretty good price. I’m in the process of decorating them right now. I’ll have to post the finished project when I’m done. (UPDATED: Here’s a link to the finished project)

For this card, I had to dust off the ol’ Prismacolors. I haven’t touched them in years actually. In fact I’ve had this same set since my junior or senior year in high school. It’s amazing they’ve lasted this long. On the other hand, it’s not so surprising since they’re fantastic colored pencils.
In addition to using the Prismacolors, I also used a new ink pad by Brilliance as well as my nifty Gamsol kit I bought a couple weeks ago at the Stamp Asylum in Plano, TX.
The Brilliance ink pad is fantastic. It works well on clear photopolymer stamps like this Hampton Arts Studio G stamp and dries much faster than other pigment ink pads.
I guess this means I’m going to have to expand my horizons and start looking at other clear stamp sets

It’s been a busy day so I wasn’t able to finish up the post I was originally working on. Thank goodness for backup plans.
I actually made this card for a friend of mine. I loved the black polka dotted paper. Too bad that was the only sheet I found in a stack of hand me downs that my friend Steph had.
