After running out of my usual cleanser, I bought this one after my cousin recommended it to me. My skin dries out in the wintertime so this cleanser helped get rid of the dry flakey patches on my face. With warmer weather, however, my skin doesn’t need the extra moisturizing action of this cleanser and I did feel as though it left a thin film on my face after rinsing. My skin DID feel soft though. I think this is a good general cleanser and the fact that you can use it without even having to wet your face is an interesting concept. Tip: Use this in conjunction with a washcloth once or twice a week to exfoliate and get rid of dead skin cells.
Update 08-25-07: I’ve purchased this cleanser again and kept it as my backup when I run out. I originally wrote that this cleanser was too heavy on oily skin during the summer months, but I take that back. If you use this cleanser in conjunction with a face cloth, you won’t have any problems with any film left behind on your skin. It actually rinses away great!
Who’s this for?
People with dry and/or sensitive skin that want a simple solution to a clean face.
Would I buy this again?
I think I would. Despite the non-foaming, lotion-like formula, I think the results outmeasure the awkwardness.
