Bite Me.

So after several months of off-and-on reading (and A LITTLE encouragement from Steph heheh), I finally finished the book Twilight (Twilight Saga) by Stephenie Meyer in anticipation for the movie coming out today. Wow, what pandemonium. I ordered my ticket early just in case but Studio Movie Grill in Addison was showing it on 2 screens anyway so it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

I think I loved the movie more than the book, but both had it’s flaws. The book was too long and drawn out. The movie had some inconsistencies (what’s with Alice not knowing Bella got away? I mean, I thought she could see the future?). And while Robert Pattinson was easy on the eyes, he’s no Brad Pitt :) On the other hand, the kiss between Bella and Edward was way hotter than the one between Brad Pitt and a then 13-year-old Kirsten Dunst in Interview With a Vampire. While some of the dialogue was different, it was definitely more entertaining (the pepper spray killed me). I think they did a good job translating the book to the big screen though.

So yeah, I’m considering making, “Bite me,” be my new catch phrase. However, the invitation is only open to hot vampires :)

So, you liked it? I need to see it again. The midnight show was fun but toward the end I was losing steam…
I really liked Kristen Stewart as Bella. She is exactly as I imagined as I read the book.
So, let me know when you are ready for book two ;)

Yes! I definitely liked her as Bella. I wasn’t sure about Edward at first because in previews and press photos, he looked a little like Zoolander.. BUT i think actually seeing the movie made him look way hotter :)

I already got the 2nd book actually! It was only $8 over at Target so I figured I’d pick it up :)
