6 more days until my 4 day weekend and scrapbook retreat!

A couple months ago, my friend Steph told me about a scrapbook retreat in a small town about an hour southwest of the Dallas Ft. Worth area. After learning about the house and chatting with the organizer, I was convinced.

Basically it’s somewhat like a B&B, but you bring your supplies and scrapbook (or make cards) all weekend. There’ll be about 25 of us there (it’s a large cabin) and we’ll all have our own crafting tables, we just have to bring our own supplies.

I’m very excited I’ve already got all my projects planned out, my lists, put together, etc. I have tons of stuff to buy this week: supplies for projects, snacks for in-between meals, and some other stuff. My plan is to get all my Christmas cards done as well as some altered journals. I’m not exactly sure what else I’ll be doing, but I’m going to scour the Martha Stewart website to see if I can find any other projects worth doing as gifts.

BTW, her glitter is fantastic. I’m normally not a glitter person, but after seeing the generous bottles of glitter in her selection at Michael’s, I figured it was worth a try for $4.99. Definitely glad I did because it’s fabulous.
