Jen Martakis released her very cute Happy Easter DigiKit yesterday at Two Peas. And since Easter hasn’t technically occurred, I went ahead and scrapped a photo of my niece Morgan back in 2008.

The Tree That Stinks

The Tree That Stinks, originally uploaded by krisalis903.

I’ve been a naughty blogger. I took this photograph over a week ago and I never uploaded it until now.

This is a picture of that tree right outside my apartment. I’ve developed a special bond with that tree. Not in a weird, creepy way. I photograph it a lot because out of all the trees nearby (and there are a lot, mind you) this one just has a lot of character and in some way, it appeals to me. It’s the one I photographed a couple years ago covered in ice.

The problem with this tree? It stunk to high heaven at full bloom. And I use that in the past tense because since last weekend’s snow, the blooms have started disappearing so it’s not as stinky. But yeah, even though it stinks, I still really like it.

Moving!

Well, no not really :) But I love making and sending moving cards when the occasion calls for it. Since I don’t have any kids, I had to come up with an inventive way of using this “kid-focused” kit and in the end I loved it!

Retaliation

Yep, it snowed. Again. In Dallas. On the first day of spring.

Earlier today, Izzie and I were out for our morning walk. Here’s a picture of her looking for the perfect spot. She wanted to let this winter weather know exactly how she felt about it.
